| The
F.N.A.S. Federazione Nazionale Arte di Strada, (National Federation
for Street Art) in occasion of the Lucania
Busker Festival, organizes the 1st INTERNATIONAL SHOWCASE OF ITALIAN STREET
PERFORMING ART on 6th, 7th and 8th August 2009, in
Stigliano, in the fascinating province of Matera. The event, being part of the National project “La rete dei Festival aperti ai giovani” (Festival Network for Youth), is supported by the Ministry for Youth Policies, and it is carried out thanks to the cooperation of A.N.C.I. (National Association of Italian City Councils), F.N.A.S, the Cultural Association Mananderr, responsible for organization and art direction of Lucania Busker Festival, and the municipality of Stigliano. We foresee the participation of major Italian and European street art festivals. As per Festival programme, art directors will have the opportunity to attend to shows performed by the most important companies of street theatre. Among
the shows performed, four shows winners of the 2009 national award, Cantieri
di Strada 2009, promoted by F.N.A.S., with presentation of nearly 120 projects
for brand new productions, shared into 4 sections: Onemanshow (performances by
solo artists), young companies, small companies and big events. Besides the festival
itself, at the moment we are also inviting many Italian companies wishing to attend
to showcase with their productions.
